In honour of next week’s World Manta Day (17 September), the Manta Trust is offering supporters the chance to win a 10-day dive or snorkel liveaboard trip to the Maldives.
All that’s needed to enter the prize draw is a minimum donation of just £2 for one entry (up to a maximum of £100 for 200 entries) on the Manta Trust’s Crowdfunder campaign page.
The winner will win a 10-day trip on board EcoPro Diving’s luxury vessel, Seascape, as it tours four different atolls of the Maldives on its ‘Best of Central North’ itinerary between 20-30 September 2026.
The trip will include a visit to Hanifaru Bay on Baa Atoll, where there is a good chance of seeing a large aggregation of manta rays as they gather to feed.
Both divers and snorkellers will also have the chance to spot several different species of shark, including the majestic whale shark, plus turtles and plenty of fish, both big and small, over some of the Maldives’ stunningly beautiful coral reefs.
As an added bonus, the trip is being hosted by a Manta Trust expert who will be on hand to provide an exclusive insight into manta ray research and conservation, plus everything you could ever possibly want to know about mantas and their smaller devil ray cousins.
Entry to the prize draw closes on 30 September, so head over to the prize draw entry page to stake your claim.
