Perfect ice waits for nobody

As the wet water sailors were celebrating the 25th anniversary of Summer Sailstice, the hard water sailors view the longest day of the year differently. As each day now gets shorter, iceboaters know they are getting that much closer to their time of year.

In about 20 weeks, DNs will gather in Finland for the annual Week 46 regatta. Just four weeks later, the DN Western Challenge kicks off the North American season on the first weekend of December in Minnesota.

That’s less than five months until they line up on the ice again, so time to finish those off-season projects to be ready. Perfect ice waits for nobody.
