It looks like Tom Cruise has a marine mission that Nautor Swan has chosen to accept.
The A-lister has commissioned the Finnish yard to build him a 108-foot sailing yacht, as reported by European sailing magazine Yacht. Cruise, who is currently on a global publicity tour for the latest Mission: Impossible film, visited the Nautor Swan facilities in Finland May 28, suggesting the rumors that have been circulating in the marine industry for the past few months are indeed true.
The sleek 108-footer features a carbon-fiber hull and is labeled a “new generation Maxi Swan” by the yard, sitting in sits between the smaller Swan 98 and the larger Swan 120. Nautor Swan currently has six Maxi Swans under construction which take an average of three to four years to build. – Full report
