Topçular-Eskihisar arasında gemiyle yolculuk yapanlar, denizin ortasındaki kahverengi tabakayı görünce şaşkınlık yaşadı. Konuyla ilgili çevreciler de harekete geçerken, belediye yetkilileri yaptıkları açıklamada, çevre kirliliği sanılan tabakanın mevsimsel geçişlerde yaşanan tabiat olaylarından kaynaklanan polen kümesi olduğunu ifade ettiler.

Yetkililer, bu durumun geçici olduğunu ifade etmesine rağmen kahverengi tabakanın yaklaşık bir haftadır Yalova açıklarından yok olmadığı öğrenildi.
