A Canarian Summer with Takara Ishii in Gran Canaria & Fuerteventura
Like many of the top wave sailors, Takara Ishii (RRD / RRD Sails) spent his summer training in the Canaries, splitting his time between Pozo Iquierdo, where he finished joint 25th, and Fuerteventura. The young Japanese ripper finishes the 2022 season ranked 14th overall after recording an excellent 6th place in Cabo Verde with a 17th place in Sylt, which is the first time the 21-year-old has broken into the overall top 16.
