Keck wins Championship of Champions

C Scow National Champion Peter Keck won the 2026 US Sailing Championship of Champions, repeating his 2022 title on September 17-20 in Syracuse, IN. With his all-star scow crew of Finn Rowe, Eddie Cox, James Hackeman, they adapted well to the larger E Scow and used their inland sailing skills on the very challenging Lake Wawasee. Storms and light winds allowed for only 12 of the 20 planned races, with the 20 teams swapping boats after each race. Melges 15 and VX One champ Chris Alexander was 9.7 points off the lead in second, with Shields champ Adrian van der Wal one point back in third. – Details
