Removing Hooks

I have been receiving a lot of requests about teaching or helping others to remove hooks from sharks. Removing hooks is a very small part of my whole work and even a small part of the work I conduct with sharks. It is not something I teach as it is the result of years of interaction, understanding with the animals and knowledge of when to act and when to refrain from it. It may appear something easy to do and even more something everyone would do for any shark they encounter and that is very honorable but as I always say "one size does not fit all" and we might either not be able to help all the sharks with hooks, nor should we try. #exploration #education #conservation @neptunic_com @scubapro @diveshearwater @waterproofinternational @oceanpositive_fourthelement
