Avelo Launches ProfileX Challenge Ahead of DEMA Show 2025

Avelo is inviting divers to take their buoyancy skills to the next level with the launch of the Avelo ProfileX Challenge – a certification and competition event designed to celebrate precision diving, innovation, and community.

Between October 1 and November 11, 2025, divers who complete their Recreational Avelo Diver (RAD) certification will automatically qualify to compete for top prizes from Avelo and Shearwater Research. Winners will be revealed live during the ProfileX Challenge Party at DEMA Show 2025 in Orlando on November 11 from 4–6 pm at Booth 1470.

The Challenge blends the excitement of competition with Avelo’s revolutionary approach to neutral buoyancy – offering divers the chance to earn recognition, prizes, and the title of Avelo master.

Train and Compete in Florida

Divers attending DEMA Show can earn their certification nearby at Lake Denton, with dedicated training sessions running November 8–10 and 14–16 for USD 550. Courses are available through participating Avelo Dive Centers, including:

• Black Flag Dive Center
• Calypso Divers of Tampa
• Delta’s Splash Dive Charter
• Force-E Scuba Centers

Spaces are limited, and divers are encouraged to contact participating centers early to secure their place.
