SEWARD, Alaska – A whale pod gave a sailor in Alaska a surprise of a lifetime.
According to FOX 5, a man sailing along the Alaskan coast was overcome with joy when a pod of whales emerged from the ocean, just feet away from his boat.
Bradley Rich and his friend Tony Flanders were fishing off the coast of Seward, Alaska on Monday when they received the amazement of a lifetime. About a dozen whales surfaced and nearly knocked over their boat.
“I hear them…. Oh My GOD! They’re right in front of us!” Rich screams before breaking out in uncontrollable laughter.
