A 2-foot nurse shark was attached to the woman’s right forearm when a crew arrived at Life Guard Tower 8 near 1400 N. Ocean Blvd. around 1:20 p.m., fire officials said.
The shark had been killed before the crew arrived, but was still attached to her arm.
The woman was taken to Boca Raton Regional Hospital and was listed as stable.
