Scuba Show Expands to the East Coast with New Atlantic City Event

Rork Media announces the launch of Scuba Show Atlantic City, bringing the iconic diving expo to the Eastern Seaboard in June 2026

Rork Media announces the launch of Scuba Show Atlantic City,

In a bold move set to redefine the U.S. dive show landscape, Rork Media Limited – new owners of the long-running Scuba Show in Long Beach, California – has officially announced the launch of a brand-new East Coast edition in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The decision follows a wave of demand from dive industry professionals, exhibitors, and stakeholders eager to see a major scuba diving expo accessible to the densely populated East Coast. According to Rork Media, the team received “unprecedented” calls for an eastern counterpart and responded with a targeted site visit tour across key cities before finalizing the Atlantic City location.

Why Atlantic City?

After evaluating cities like Washington D.C. (ruled out due to limited parking) and Philadelphia (which posed logistical cost concerns), Atlantic City stood out as the most practical and exciting choice. With its blend of family-friendly appeal and accessibility, the city offers a well-rounded experience for both exhibitors and attendees.

Set against the backdrop of beaches, the iconic Steel Pier, live entertainment, and a vibrant mix of restaurants and nightlife—including casinos for those inclined—Atlantic City combines leisure and practicality. Travel logistics are also favorable: the venue is connected by train to major hubs, located just an hour from Philadelphia International Airport, and easily reachable from New York, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. by car or regional flights.

Ross Arnold, Publishing Director at Rork Media, highlighted the strategic reasoning: “From our UK and Australia shows—both held in relatively remote locations—we’ve seen divers travel four hours or more to attend. That puts Atlantic City within driving range of over a third of the U.S. population.”

Double the Exposure, One Trip

To make the most of international travel logistics, Rork Media is scheduling the East Coast debut just one week after the flagship Long Beach show:

This back-to-back scheduling gives overseas exhibitors the chance to attend both events in a single trip—engaging with West Coast dive retailers and customers before heading East to tap into the thriving Atlantic corridor. For domestic brands, it’s an efficient opportunity to maximize brand visibility and outreach across two high-profile markets in a single sweep.

Opportunities Now Open

Exhibitor registration is now open for both the Long Beach and Atlantic City Scuba Shows, with package options available for brands looking to secure space at one or both events.

As excitement builds for this East Coast premiere, Atlantic City looks poised to become a new hotspot on the global scuba calendar.
