Jody Starck (Buffalo, NY) topped the 42-team field to win the 2022 Lightning Masters World Championship held May 14-16 in Wrightsville Beach, NC. In a who-beat-who sixth and final race, Starck got by Marvin Beckmann (Houston, TX) on the final downwind leg to take the title by one point. After no wind for racing on the first day, Starck sailed with Bill Faude and Randy Borges on day two and with Faude and brother-in-law Tom Starck on day three. – Details
