Halcyon Dive Systems is offering dive instructors a discounted offer on its Symbios Ecosystem, an integrated dive package consisting of the Symbios Handset wrist-mounted dive computer, a heads-up display unit (HUD), wireless Tank Pod transceiver and Halcyon App.
The system is designed to provide an integrated method of keeping track of essential dive data, settings and gas mixtures through the use of both the handset and HUD, and is also capable of data sharing with other divers.
Up to nine transmitters can be connected and five different gas mixtures monitored for each. Halcyon says the Symbios Ecosystem will also be able to connect with Halcyon’s patent-pending rebreather, GPS buoy, integrated dive lights and DPVs.
Discounts on the Symbios Ecosystem – which retails at around £2,235 – will be available to instructors until 31 May 2025. Halcyon says the precise amount will depend on local import tariffs and transport costs, but will still amount to ‘a very attractive discount’ off the recommended retail price.
To qualify for the offer, the applicant must hold an instructor-level certification with a recognised agency (the offer is not open to assistant instructors and divemasters), and will get a personalised offer by completing an application form on the Halycon website.
