Cleveland, OH (August 3, 2021) – The qualifying stage of the 75th Thistle US National Championship was completed with three races held yesterday and today to divide the 96 teams into Championship and Presidents divisions.
With qualifying scores rolling into the Championship stage, Greg Griffin with crew Mark Reddaway and Amy Thompson lead the field with a one point margin over Brian Joyce in second with Mike Ingham three points behind in third.
The series scores for boats in the Championship Division will be the total of all their race scores, including the qualifying races, with no races excluded. The series scores for boats in the President’s Division will be the total of their race scores, excluding the qualifying races, with no other races excluded.
