Family Launch Funding Campaign For Dive Guide Injured by Boat Propeller

Following an incident on Friday 25th July in which a dive guide was struck by a boat propeller at Yucab Reef off the coast of Cozumel, the family have launched a heart-felt GoFundMe campaign to cover medical expenses for the victim, who we now understand to be called Manolo.

My brother Manolo is fighting for his life. Yesterday, he was struck by a boat while enjoying the sea. The collision left him with multiple fractures and life-threatening injuries. His condition is critical.

In the midst of this nightmare, those responsible are trying to walk away and deny accountability. The full weight of medical expenses has fallen on us, his family—at a time when every second and every medical decision matters.
