Thirty-one teams competed in the 2019 Star North American Championship held September 11-14 in Toms River, New Jersey. After stumbling with a 13th in the first race, Augie Diaz and Henry Boening worked their way through the fleet to win the seven race, no discard series. Special mention to Scuttlebutt Sailing Club teams that finished 5th (Andrew Macdonald/Mark Strube) and 8th (Arthur Anosov/David Caesar) overall.
