Black Dive Club Member Turns Movie Actor and Adaptive Scuba Advocate

Guess who is carrying on the legacy of Shirley Lee, the first black female to get a scuba certification?

If you guessed Windy City Seals dive club member Leslie Logan you would be right. The Windy City Seals scuba club has a rich history as the first and only black dive club in Chicagoland.

Leslie is a relatively new diver but is all in on expanding her scuba experiences and aiding Diveheart on growing adaptive scuba around the world. In fact Leslie who has done some theatrical acting in the past has joined the Sharing Air film team of actors as a character in the movie who learns how to scuba dive.

The filming for the movie Sharing Air begins in March 2026. Stay tuned to see great things from the film and Leslie.
