Join us to take a trip through one of the most daring and dangerous times in North American history: the Prohibition era (1920 – 1933), when alcohol was illegal in the USA. Cris Kohl and Joan Forsberg of Seawolf Communications will be presenting on the rumrunners who were smuggling alcohol from Canada to the United States. Many people saw this as a great opportunity to make a fast, but illegal, buck by running liquor in boats across Great Lakes waters. The bullets flew, the boats raced, and the booze flowed!
